What is HTRIconnect?

Engineers have long relied on HTRI software to accurately model heat exchangers. Now, you can take advantage of the same trusted technology to create digital twins of heat exchangers and fired heaters in operation within your digital transformation (DX) programs. By connecting to measured process conditions, HTRI's rigorous software shows what's happening inside the equipment. You can also track key performance indicators (KPIs), allowing you to investigate changes in performance over time.

As a powerful informational hub, HTRIconnect creates two-way links between HTRI software and plant data systems, such as AVEVA™ PI System™, Microsoft® SQL Server, and Microsoft® Excel® workbooks. Working across invested user groups, HTRIconnect elevates how HTRI tools are used—helping you make smarter operational decisions.

How to get started - 3 simple steps

File Registration

Step 1 - Register your HTRI files

The Files section allows you to manage HTRI files in the system (registering and unregistering them), to filter and view the details of HTRI files, and to search for HTRI files not currently in the HTRIconnect system.

Data Binding

Step 2 - Connect your Digital Twin to your Data Historian (Binding)

Data Binding displays all Xchanger Suite® and Xfh® Ultra files registered in HTRIconnect. Within the Data Bindings tree, you can select attributes in the HTRI files and map them to elements in any of the registered data historians.

Calculations

Step 3 - Calculate Digital Twin Results

Use your registered HTRI files to calculate time series data based on the Data Bindings to create a set of results which can be published back to your data historian.

HTRI members with an active agreement that includes an entitlement for Xchanger Suite, SmartPM, or Xfh Ultra will be able to use HTRIconnect with Microsoft Excel as a data source.
